This easy Creamy Chicken Bacon Pasta recipe is simple, quick to prepare and is ready in less then 30 minutes. My daughter had a second plate, and that doesn’t happen often. She’d rather just go straight to dessert, usually! That means this dish is a WINNER!
You can even make that this when entertaining friends and family. It’s that good! It tastes like it’s from a restaurant. No kidding!
INGERDIENTS
1 pack of precooked chicken strips 227 g. (I like to use the shish taouk since it’s marinated and has lots of flavor).
1/2 cup of real crumbled bacon
1 pack of sliced mushrooms 227 g.
1 cup of broccoli
1 onion chopped
1 clove of garlic minced
1 473 ml carton of 15% cooking cream
3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
2 1/2 cups of uncooked penne pasta
1 teaspoon of Italian seasonings
1/2 teaspoon of chili flakes
Salt and pepper to taste
Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish.
INSTRUCTIONS
Cook the pasta following instructions on the box.
In a large frying pan, heat the oil at medium high heat and add the mushrooms, broccoli and onions.
Saute for about 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Add the garlic and saute for 1 minute.
Add the chicken and bacon and cook for another 2 minutes.
Add the cream, Italian seasonings, chili flakes, salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil, turn the head down and simmer for about 5 minutes or until sauce thickens.
Add the pasta to the sauce and stir.
Serve topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
