Spice Rub Grilled Chicken Legs

Do It All Working Mom - Spice Rub Grilled Chicken Legs

This is a great, easy and inexpensive recipe. Who doesn’t like chicken? This Spice Rub Grilled Chicken is really tasty and juicy; your family will love it. The spice rub gives it the perfect taste, and it only takes minutes to prepare. Then you cook the chicken slowly on the grill, which makes it tender and juicy.

You can use this tasty spice rub for chicken drumsticks or a complete chicken; it will be just as delicious. You will have to modify the cooking time.

Ingredients

4 chicken legs
2 teaspoons of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of paprika
1/2 teaspoon of garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon of onion salt
1/4 teaspoon of freshly ground pepper
1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper

Directions

Mix together the spices and rub on the chicken legs.
Preheat the grill at maximum.
Place the chicken legs on the grill, and turn off the burner just under the chicken legs, leaving the other burners at high.
Cook for 10 minutes per side.
Then turn the burner under the chicken legs on at minimum heat, and cook for another 10 minutes per side.

    When I season chicken to bake in the oven I use everything but the cayenne pepper and the brown sugar. I rally want to add in that brown sugar next time it sounds delicious!
