This Easy Warm Biscuit recipe is my grandmother’s recipe. I hadn’t made these in years but came across the recipe last week when we lost power, and I decided to organize my recipe binder. I’m happy I did, they’re so easy and simple to prepare, and the kids love them!
These Easy Warm Biscuits are perfect to serve at breakfast with jam, at lunch with charcuterie, pâté and cheese, and at dinner with almost anything. I would serve them with Braised Beef Bourguignon, Easy Beef Stew or Oven Baked Lasagna.
Ingredients
2 cups of flour
1 cup of milk
1/4 cup of margarine or butter at room temperature
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of white sugar
1/2 teaspoon of salt
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350° F.
In a bowl stir together the flour, magic powder, sugar and salt.
Add the butter or margarine and stir.
Add the milk, stir well, and place the dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (Divide in 9 portions of about 2 tablespoons).
Cook for about 12 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.
It doesn’t get easier then this. I bet my grandma’s Easy Warm Biscuits will become a family favorite!
