Recipe

3-Ingredient Apple Sauce

3-2Bingredient-2Bapple-2Bsauce
My kids love apple sauce. They can eat more than one in a day, that’s why I try to take the time to make my own instead of buying the already made stuff. It tastes so much better, is a lot cheaper, healthier and so easy to make, only 3-ingredients. We still get the squeezable apple sauce because the’re so convenient and fun to eat, but at home, we eat the real stuff!

Ingredients

10 medium size apples, pealed, cored and quartered.
1/2 cup of water
3 tablespoons of white sugar

In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil.
Add the apples, cover and let simmer for 10-12 minutes without stirring.
Add the sugar and stir until sugar is blended.
Let the apple sauce cool down and poor into Mason Jars or individual size containers.

Apple sauce is so easy to make. I like to add cinnamon to mine when I make it. The thing that takes the most time is peeling the apples.

Your right, must be really good with cinnamon but my son does not like it.

I love homemade applesauce. I always add a bit of cinnamon to mine! I just ordered a pampered chef corer/peeler so I didn’t have to peel all of the apples by hand!

      I don’t have a corer/pealer but that’s on my Christmas list 😉
