Fall Decorating On A Budget

It’s so much fun to update our home decor as the seasons change. My favourite times to decorate the house are Fall and Christmas.

When I decorate, I try to keep it simple, nice and cheap! Who wants to spend a fortune on something that will only last a few weeks? I’m sharing with you today inexpensive and easy fall decorating ideas.

I found most of my decorating accessories at the dollar store, grocery store, in our yard, in our shed and our cupboards. So Here are some of my fall decorating idea

Leaf garland from the dollar store,
Wreath from the dollar store.
Fall flowers from my garden.
Mini pumpkins and squash (the real ones are from the grocery store and the fake ones are from the dollar store).
Orange candle $1 at Walmart.

Pumpkin from the dollar store.
Candles from the dollar store.
Branches from our yard and a flower pot that I already had in my cupboard.

Acorn from our yard.
Orange rattan balls from the dollar store.
Wooden salad bowl from my cupboard.
Fake leaves from the dollar store.
Acorn candle, less then $10 at a local decoration boutique.
Wooden candle holder, less then $10 at a local decoration boutique.

Here, I just added acorns around my candles, it’s nice and it’s free. (I did wash the acorns and dried them in the oven at 300 degrees for 10 minutes. It kills the little bugs at the same time).

A piece of burlap from our shed.
3 glass leaves, serving plates from my cupboard.
Orange tea light candle holders from the dollar store.
I do want my kids pick more acorns to put around the candle holders.

A yellow flower from our grocery store $3.99.
Pumpkins from our grocery store $2.97 each.
Fall Wreath from the dollar store.

How easy, nice and cheap is that? Now look around your yard, into your cupboards and head out to your local dollar store and grocery store. Hope you find lots great stuff!

Great ideas! You’re definitely better at decorating than am I. Our Fall decorations tend to be focused much more on the kids’ Halloween art. Lots of orange construction paper pumpkins, fake spiderwebs, and cardboard witches. I will aspire to your Fall decorating sense as the kids grow out of their Halloween phase! Happy Fall!

Oh I’m not into Halloween decorations yet. I wait until October for that. This is my fall decor. I do put my kids art for Halloween, with fake spider webs as well. I’ll take pictures when I do put them up.
