Easy Chocolate Chip Banana Bread Recipe

This Easy Chocolate Chip Banana Bread is moist and delicious. You can enjoy it for breakfast, snack or dessert. I like to double this recipe, because it goes fast at our house. Never throw away those overripe bananas when you can make delicious Chocolate Chip Banana Bread or Easy Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins.

Chocolate chip banana bread

Ingredients

3 ripe bananas mashed
1 egg beaten
1/2 cup of melted butter
1/2 cup of white sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 1/2 cup of flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
a pinch of salt
1/2 cup of chocolate chips

 

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350° F.
Butter a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan
With a mixer, mix together the butter and sugar.
Add the egg, the bananas and the vanilla and mix until well blended.
Add the salt, baking soda and flour and mix until blended (do not mix too much).
Add the chocolate chips stirring with a spoon until blended.
Pour into loaf pan and bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the middle.
Let the banana bread cool down for 15 minutes before removing from pan and slicing.
