Today, I’ll show you How to Cook the Perfect Filet Mignon. Filet Mignon is my favorite cut of steak, and I’m really picky when it comes to the way it’s cooked. I like my steak rare to medium rare, tender and juicy. My kids are the same, if you serve them a well cooked, dry piece of steak, they won’t eat it, and neither will I.

It’s not complicated to cook a tender and juicy filet mignon, and it requires just a few ingredients.

 

How to cook the perfect Filet Mignon

 

Pan seared

Ingredients

2 to 4 slices of filet mignon (1″ thick)
3 tablespoons of butter
1 tablespoon of olive oil
Fleur de sel or sea salt
Freshly ground pepper

Instructions

Season the steaks with salt and pepper
In a large frying pan, heat the butter and the oil over high heat.
When the butter is melted, and starts to bubble, add the filets mignons.

How to cook the perfect Filet Mignon
Cook for 3 minutes per side for medium rare (keep the heat at high).
Transfer to a plate and let the steaks rest for 5 minutes covered with aluminum foil.

How to cook the perfect Filet Mignon
Serve immediately.

On the grill

Ingredients

2 to 4 slices of filet mignon 1″ thick
1 tablespoon of olive oil

Preheat the grill to high heat.
Rub olive oil on both sides of the filets mignons, and season with salt and pepper.
Cook at high heat for 3 minutes per sides for medium rare.
Transfer to a plate and let the steaks rest for 5 minutes covered with aluminum foil.

Pain maison prêt en 1 heure 🥖 Ingrédients 1 Pain maison prêt en 1 heure 🥖 

Ingrédients
1½ tasse d'eau tiède
1 cuillère à soupe de miel
1½ cuillère à thé de sel
1 cuillère à soupe de levure sèche active
3½ - 4½ tasses de farine

Instructions
Mélangez l'eau, le miel, le sel et la levure dans un bol en verre. Laisser reposer 5 à 10 minutes. jusqu'à ce qu'il y ait un peu de mousse bouillonnante sur le dessus.
Ensuite, ajoutez un tas de farine. Continuez à pétrir jusqu'à ce qu'il ne soit plus collant. Vous voulez que votre pâte colle à elle-même, pas à vos doigts. Alors, continuez à ajouter de la farine et continuez à pétrir jusqu'à ce que cela se produise.
Sur une plaque à biscuits recouverte de papier parchemin, Former la pâte en forme de pain. Couvrir d'une serviette et laisser reposer sur le comptoir pendant 20 minutes (ou sur le dessus du four pendant qu’il préchauffé si votre cuisine est froide). C'est le moment de régler le four à 400 degrés.
Après 20 minutes, couper des fentes dans le haut de la pâte et cuire au four pendant 16-20 minutes.
Des variations peuvent être apportées en ajoutant de l'ail et de l'origan, ou de la cannelle et des raisins secs, ou tout ce que vous rêvez!

I had no idea how I was going to do it. I didn't know anything about the company. I didn't even bother to ask.
I just thought if I was going to do my makeup every day anyway, I could do it.
Note that at the time, I had CC cream, concealer, mascara, eye shadow, gloss and blush. They barely filled a make-up bag.
But that's where I started.
By taking a photo before and after my makeup.
