Pear Apple Salad with Maple Syrup Dressing

I know salad is good for you, but a green salad can become a bit boring. That’s why I like to try different ingredients and dressing in my salads. This Pear Apple Salad with Maple Syrup Dressing is certainly not boring. It’s simply delicious! Even my kids were pleasantly surprise by the  sweet and delicious taste of the maple syrup dressing.

Pear Apple Salad

Ingredients

3 cups of your favorite kind of lettuce (you can also use baby spinach)
1 small pear thinly sliced
1 small red apple thinly sliced
3 tablespoons of red onions sliced
3 tablespoons of mayonnaise
3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
3 tablespoons of maple syrup

Instructions

In a salad bowl, add the lettuce, pears, apples and red onions.
In a small bowl whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar and maple syrup.
Add the dressing to the salad and give it a stir.
For more taste and texture, add some chopped nuts.

This makes a delicious and healthy side dish. It’s also perfect to bring to work or to send to school as a yummy lunch.
