Tomatoes and Feta Cheese Recipe

I don’t know about you, but for me, getting my kids to eat fruits and vegetables is not always easy. Well today I’m sharing my kids favourite healthy recipe: Tomatoes and Feta Cheese. I serve this as a side dish, with grilled meat or fish. It’s really easy to make, and so tasty.

Sliced Feta cheese
Sliced black olives
Fresh oregano chopped (to taste)

Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
This is pretty easy. Place the slices of tomatoes in a serving plate.
Top with slices of Feta cheese, black olives and fresh oregano.
Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar and season with freshly ground pepper.

You can make the same recipe with Bocconcini cheese (my kids don’t like Bocconcini, but I do) you will need to add fleur de sel or sea salt. Bocconcini cheese is not salty like Feta cheese, so it needs more seasoning.

Try it, you will love it, and hopefully your kids will to.

Looks yummy! Glad that your kids like this, I’ll have to try it with mine. I especially like the pairing with grilled meats, as this feels to me like a perfect summer-y dish.
