Recipe

Easy Lean Creton in the Microwave (French Canadian Pâté)

This Easy Lean Creton in the Microwave recipe is an authentic French Canadian pâté recipe. It’s delicious. I made this recipe with lean pork, but if you really want the authentic recipe, you should make it with regular ground pork. I really liked my leaner, quicker and easier version of this dish. Hope you do too.

Easy Creton

Ingredients

1 pound of lean ground pork
1/2 cup of crushed soda cracker (14 crackers)
1 small onion finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of freshly ground pepper
1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon of ground clove
1 cup of milk

Easy Creton

Instructions

In a microwavable bowl, stir all the ingredients.
Cook in the microwave at high intensity 3 times for 5 minutes (15 minutes total), stirring between each time.
Spoon in one large or two small ceramic dish.
Press down and let cool for 10 minutes.
Cover with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator until the creton has cooled down completely.
Serve with bread, Easy Warm Biscuits or crackers.

I’m sure you will enjoy this Easy Creton Recipe. It’s perfect for all occasions, and enjoyed by everyone.
