Lasagna is one of my favorite meals, and my daughter’s as well. I have a great Crock Pot Lasagna Recipe HERE that you can try, it’s delicious, but nothing beats an Oven Baked Lasagna. It’s so simple to make, and the secret is in the sauce.
To make my Oven Baked Lasagna, I use my delicious and easy spaghetti sauce recipe that you can find HERE. The sauce recipe makes enough to freeze so you can enjoy delicious spaghetti sauce for a few months. I made a batch yesterday, and I got 9 meals out of it!
Ingredients
2 1/2 cups of bolognese sauce, see my recipe (bolognese sauce recipe)
12 lasagna noodles cooked as per directions on box
1 cup of shredded parmigiano reggiano
3 1/2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
Spread 1/2 cup of sauce at the bottom of a 13 x 9 lasagna dish.
Cover with 1 layer of pasta noodles (3 lasagna noodles)
Spread 1/2 cup of sauce, 1/2 cup of parmigiano reggiano and 1/2 cup of mozzarrella cheese over the lasagna noodles.
Cover with 1 layer of pasta noodles (3 lasagna noodles)
Spread 1/2 cup of sauce, 1/2 cup of parmigiano reggiano and 1/2 cup of mozzarrella cheese over the lasagna noodles.
Cover with 1 layer of pasta noodles (3 lasagna noodles)
Spread 1/2 cup of sauce, 1/2 cup of parmigiano reggiano and 1/2 cup of mozzarrella cheese over the lasagna noodles.
Cover with 1 layer of pasta noodles (3 lasagna noodles)
Spread 1/2 cup of sauce and 2 cups of mozzarella cheese over the lasagna noodles.
Cover with aluminium paper and cook at 350 degrees F. for 30 minutes.
Remove the aluminium paper and broil for a few minutes, until the cheese starts to brown.
Let the lasagna rest for 5 minutes before serving.
